AI is quickly becoming part of everyday work.
Not through big transformation projects or formal rollouts, but through small, individual actions.
An employee uses ChatGPT to draft an email.
Someone uploads notes into a tool to summarise a meeting.
A manager experiments with AI to write a job ad.

1. What can AI be used for?
Provide examples relevant to your business, such as:

- Summarising documents
- Supporting research
This helps employees understand where AI adds value.
2. What shouldn’t be shared?
Be clear about boundaries, particularly around:
- Client or customer data
- Confidential business information
- Employee details
This is often the most important (and overlooked) area.
3. What level of review is expected?
AI can be helpful, but it’s not always accurate.
Set expectations that:
- Outputs should be checked before use
- Decisions shouldn’t rely solely on AI
- Accountability remains with the employee
4. Which tools are approved?
Ideally, pre-approved (and paid for) enterprise tools are preferrable to individuals using multiple free platforms. Guided facilitation of setting these up correctly and training employees how to maxmise it’s usage then ensures both the output quality and safety of the organisation.
On a side note – having everything built in the same system ensures the legacy agent or workflow stays with the organisation rather than leaving with an employee.

A third may rely heavily on outputs without question.
