Annette Dixon

Annette Dixon is a Human Resources professional qualified at Deakin University, with 17 years human resources management experience.

Using her strategic and operational human resources management skills, Annette has been involved in building and transitioning businesses through effective human resources strategy. She has been a line manager, and looked after compliance and regulatory issues for business.

Some notable achievements include:

Anita Kokalevska

Anita has over 10 years experience in the Human Resources arena. Her industry background is in telecommunications, information technology and retail. She has worked for some of Australia’s most notable telecommunications companies.

With experience in leading large projects over 3 continents and delivering on exceptional results. Her pride is in having a people first attitude and ensuring that practical solutions are delivered to clients. Anita recognises the importance of employee engagement and retention and how this impacts profitability.

Being a trained coach and mentor she provided advice and insight to hundreds of managers and employees. Having worked on projects involving but not limited to contract re-negotiations and absence management initiatives she is well adept at ensuring all parties are satisfied with the outcome.

Anita can provide both operational and strategic support. Some of her areas of expertise are explained below.

Industrial Relations: Review current contracts and provide recommendations to senior managers and Executive group for IR strategy going forward. Design and implement employee contracts for over 1000 employees.

Absence Management: High focus on absence management strategies and coaching managers to explore motivated absences. Exploring absence metrics and devising strategies to decrease the absence rate across the organisation.

Health and Wellness: Design and develop wellness initiatives to be implemented company wide. Mental Health, health and fitness, pandemic response management.

Mergers and Acquisitions: Integrate HR practices, train and develop managers in policies and procedures, employee contract integration.

Michael O’Rourke

Mike is a multi-faceted, efficient and committed professional with experience across a broad range of industries, working within both large and small business units. He possesses a valuable, diversified skill set covering a wide range of business areas including; education, project management, workplace health and safety, facilitation and training, administration, information technology and stakeholder management.

Mike’s experience and qualifications make him quite unique. He has extensive qualifications in Education including a Masters in Adult Education (UTS), and Diploma of Education (Macquarie University). He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics Major) from Macquarie University, and project management qualifications in PMBOK, and is a Foundation & Project Management Practitioner in Prince2. He has wide experience in WHS and more recently completed a Certificate IV –in Work Health & Safety.

Michael has extensive experience in the education sector. After leaving University, he has taught at high schools for +12 years and became Head of Department. He was responsible for writing one of the first legal courses for senior high school students in NSW. He also developed and conducted in-service courses for teachers and has also taught adults at TAFE College.

Michael then launched his training and development career in 1990 at Telstra, a major telecommunication company, and established a successful training role there over an eight year period. He facilitated training programs for management and staff, conducted presentations to management and staff on current training issues. He prepared training and development policies and procedures in accordance with Quality Management System standards and met tight deadlines in delivering effective training solutions brought about by new or changes to existing computer applications and recently completed the Certificate IV – Workplace Assessment and Training.

He then successfully transferred his training and development skills to the financial sector and worked at leading financial institutions such as Perpetual and the Royal Bank of Canada until 2007. During this time, his skills continued to broaden into project management and he worked successfully on a major transitional project at IAG, a major insurance industry company. While working in the Program Management Office, responsibilities included health and safety, training, auditing and compliance.

In 2009, Mike accepted a role as PMO Manager at a leading tertiary education sector institution, the University of Sydney. This was a high profile and strategic initiative $60m project at the University, which relied on extensive knowledge and experience of project management and other skills and knowledge of health and safety, training, and auditing.

The main areas of responsibility include Workplace Health & Safety (WHS), Relationship Management, Staff Management, Financial Management, Asset Management, Facilities Management, Project Administration and Reporting. With a workforce of over 120 people on the project, he was able to apply his skills and knowledge to relevant situations across the organisation.

Mike has an excellent familiarity with technical concepts, language and functionality through his extensive experience across IT environments. These areas have included; training, group facilitation, business analysis and the implementation and administration of new software across businesses.
